Leaders Summit 2026 Agenda Goes Live: Shaping the Future of Sustainable Business

The UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2026 is taking shape, with session titles and descriptions for this year’s programme now live. Taking place during UN General Assembly High-Level Week, the Summit will convene global business leaders, UN partners and changemakers at a critical moment for sustainable development.
The 2026 programme will focus on the issues shaping the future of responsible business, including sustainable finance and governance, as well as social and environmental sustainability. Through a dynamic mix of keynotes, breakout sessions and interactive discussions, the Summit is designed to help companies navigate complexity, accelerate progress on the SDGs and translate ambition into measurable impact.
As the premier annual gathering of the UN Global Compact, the Leaders Summit offers a unique platform to exchange insights, forge partnerships and drive collective action at scale. Advancing Integrity: PRME and
UN Global Compact Convene Strategy Workshop
|
On 14 April, the One Global Compact Strategy Workshop in Zurich brought together leaders from Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), the UN Global Compact, academia and civil society to drive forward collaboration on ethics, anti-corruption and business integrity.
The workshop showcased how the new One Global Compact strategy is unlocking more structured and impactful collaboration across PRME, Local Networks and partners—placing research, applied learning and business school engagement at the centre of efforts to turn principles into practice.
Against a backdrop of increasing global fragmentation, participants emphasized that stronger cross-sector collaboration, including with civil society, will be critical to scaling ethical business practices and embedding integrity at the heart of decision-making.

Climate Peer Learning Platform Builds Momentum in Copenhagen
|
The UN Global Compact Climate Peer Learning Platform convened 126 participants in Copenhagen, bringing together 102 multinational companies from 25 countries alongside climate experts from 21 Country Networks across Europe and North America. The strong turnout signalled growing momentum among businesses to accelerate climate action through collaboration and shared learning.
Participants engaged with a coordinated communications toolkit, supporting aligned messaging across markets, while Country Networks amplified the initiative through LinkedIn and national media outreach—strengthening the platform’s collective reach and impact.
The energy and engagement throughout the meeting underscored the power of peer learning to drive practical climate solutions, and highlighted the importance of coordinated, cross-border action in helping companies move from ambition to implementation.
